Transportation
We recommended renting a car for airport transportation and getting around town.
To and from the airport
Todos Santos is ~1:15 from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD).
A couple things to note about the drive:
There is a toll road between SJD & Cabo San Lucas that requires USD or Peso. The cost is ~$5 USD.
The road is well paved - honestly better than the 101 in San Francisco or 290 in Chicago.
Watch your speed. I've never gotten a ticket, but it is possible.
If you decide against renting a car
Please reach out to your hotel to have them coordinate a ride.
Another option is carpooling with other wedding guests. I am happy to connect folks with similar arrival times. If you would like assistance on this, please complete this form.
To and from sponsored events
We will be providing transportation to and from wedding sponsored events (i.e., Welcome Party, Wedding, Beach Day)
Welcome Party - Friday
We will have two vans on-call to pick people up from their destination and drop them off after
That said, for many folks the location, Villa Hope, is walking distance
There is also ample parking if you wish to drive / carpool - please drink responsibly if you drive
Wedding - Saturday
Full door-to-door transportation will be provided for all wedding guests to and from the wedding. You CANNOT drive to the wedding.
Ahead of the wedding we will assign each party a van for pickup. Times will be assigned mid next week.
We'll have vans on standby to take people throughout the wedding, as long as we need them
Sunday Beach Day
We encourage you to drive if you have a car. Location will be shared mid next week.

We have rooms blocked off for wedding guests at four boutique hotels and a list of Airbnb houses. Mention the Gate Edwards wedding when you book at the hotels. Please let us know when you reserve your housing.
