Todos Santos is magical, with unmarked roads, secluded beaches, quaint cobblestone streets, and activities galore.

During your stay, we highly encourage you to get out and explore.

Here’s some of our recommendations!

  • TOWN.

Todos Santos has a vibrant art and food community. There are many galleries, for any budget, scattered across downtown. Some favorites are Galeria Militar, Galeria de Todos Santos, PILOTO Santa Terra, and La Sonrisa De La Muerte.

For food & drink, here’s a Google Map of our favorite spots.

That said, we always encourage you to get lost and find your own gems. You can’t go wrong!

  • BEACH.

Todos Santos’ beautiful beaches stretch for miles. That said, the area is also notorious for dangerous breaks and dangerous currents. If you want to go swimming our recommendation is to check out one of the following beaches:

    • Playa Las Palmas - This is where Sunday’s Beach Party will be. It’s a little hidden unless you know where you are going!

    • Cerritos Beach

  • SURF.

The stretch of coastline between Cabo San Lucas and Todos Santos is internationally renowned for its quality surf.

There’s three beaches a short drive from the town: La Pastora, Playa Los Cerritos, and Playa Pescadero.

La Katrina is a local surf shop down town. For rentals we recommend Mario’s Surf School.

  • MTN BIKE.

Todos has a vast network of hidden trails with excellent views and a committed community of local riders. It’s an under-the-radar paradise for Mountain Bikers.

For rentals and advice on trails, Over The Edge in the center of town is your spot!

  • FISH.

The waters off Baja California Sur offer some of the richest fishing, and by some is considered the Marlin capital of the world.

There’s a few ways to do it: (1) Classic Deep Sea fishing charters - this will be pricey and you’ll need to drive an hour to Cabo or La Paz or (2) Recommended - Mexican Panga - 20-25 ft. outboard fishing boat with local fishermen. They leave every morning at 7:00am from Punta Lobos (right next to Hotel San Cristobal) and launch from the beach. An adventurous spirit is recommended for this route as there’s nothing luxurious about the experience. That said, as long as you have a 6-pack of Tecate and a couple of tamales for nutrition, you’re guaranteed to catch some fish!

If you’re prone to seasickness but still have the anglers itch, I hear there’s decent surf fishing in the area too.

  • PICKLE BALL.

We’ve got a pickleball court reserved Thursday - Saturday morning for those who are interested. Word on the street is that the Gate family is serious about the sport. So don’t come unless you are ready to compete!

  • GOLF.

The southern tip of Baja has some incredible golf courses designed by the very best: Tom Fazio, Davis Love III, Jack Nicklaus. Courses will be 1-2 hours away, mostly in Cabo San Lucas or Los Cabos.

Heads up! Tee times will likely be tough to get.

  • OTHER.

    • Swimming with Whale Sharks and Sea Lions (La Paz)

    • Hiking

    • Renting ATVs

For some of the more niche activities, we will have group chats organized for those interested to coordinate. Please complete this form, and I’ll make sure you are connected with the relevant activity group.
